How do I know HopeTether will work when my pet needs it?
Because we test the real Finder-to-Owner journey, end to end.
In our end-to-end tests, we have completed the journey from scanning the TAG to starting a CALL to the Owner in around 10–15 seconds.

Does HopeTether replace a microchip?
No. HopeTether is designed to work alongside microchipping, not replace it.
A microchip provides an important registered identifier. HopeTether gives the person who finds your pet a direct way to reach the Owner through the TAG.
What does the person who finds my pet need to use HopeTether?
A phone with internet access and a camera to scan the QR code.
There is no HopeTether app to download and no Finder account to create.
Can the Finder see my phone number?
No.
In the normal HopeTether Finder pathway, your personal phone number is not displayed to the Finder.
HopeTether provides protected CALL and MESSAGE pathways so the Finder can contact you without needing to see your number.
What if I change my phone number?
You can change the phone number connected to your HopeTether account.
The new UK mobile number is verified before the change takes effect. Your pet keeps the same HopeTether Identity.
Is there a subscription?
No.
HopeTether is a £29.99 one-time System entry, with UK delivery included.
There is no HopeTether subscription.

What happens if the physical TAG is replaced?
Your pet keeps the same HopeTether Identity.
A replacement TAG carries the same HopeTether number and the same QR connection to that pet’s Identity.
The physical TAG may one day be replaced.
The Identity remains.
